self-portrait
Well, the EDM challenge this week is self portrait. I did this one in a hotel mirror a couple of weeks ago. I don't really have four ears -- after looking at the sketch later, i restated the head outline with my pen -- and I think the restated outline is truer to the real shape of my head -- despite the fact that that gave me 4 ears!! and I'm not really that angry! I got a little heavy-handed with the shading I now see! learning, learning...

This is a great effort Penny! I'll bet you learned a lot from doing it. I was too heavy handed with the shading in my first self-portrait too. Actually I don't think it makes you look angry...a little intense perhaps, but not angry. :o)

Great job! I give anyone credit for even doing a self-portrait! It is truly the most difficult thing I have done.
You just look like you are concentrating, and no wonder! This is really good. I think self-portraits are incredibly hard to do.
