Morning Glories
Sure of their own beauty
morning glories throw themselves out
looking for anything to embrace.
Finding nothing, they will embrace
themselves. Over and over and over.
Lifting their heavenly faces
exposing the white pearl
at the center of their swirling star.
Oh how they have transformed
my ordinary mailbox
into a thing of beauty.
