Fruit
Well, this week's challenge on EDM (Everyday Matters Yahoo group) was to draw some fruit -- so, here is my response to the challenge. All the fruit we had in our bowl this week-end. These are done with pen and watercolor pencils. I experimented with first putting water on the page and then then pencils and the other way around. Both were fun -- But the Moleskin paper didn't stand up to much "mooshing" around once the water was down!!
I'm also including a photo of myself here -- I can't seem to figure out how to get this photo to just be small and part of my "profile" -- so, here I am as big as life!

Folded altered book
I just finished a book that I altered by folding the pages. Then, I inserted little cards with text messages on them. The cards have fibers hanging on them so you can just pull them out at random and "read" the book! Quite fun!
COMMENTS!! I didn't realize there was a space for you to make comments here! And, people actually have!!! What a wonderful treat! Thank you for your kind words!! (Now I'll have to be checking every half hour to see if someone has written me a note!!) He-he!!

Moleskin sketches
Everyone at EDM has been talking about how hard it is to paint on moleskin. I agree!! But, I have found that making a background with watercolor crayons and then sketching over it gives some color. Although my micron pens tend to skip on this surface too.
Here is a sktech of my new hypernion day lily. and, my foot (EDM Challenge)
